How Do I Create a Facebook Event?

Set up an event listing on Facebook to inform invitees and attract more attendees.

When logged into your Facebook account, click on “Events” from your home page or go to https://www.facebook.com/events/. Click the “Create Event” button then choose from “Create Private Event” or “Choose Public Event.” From there, you add a photo or video, name of the event, location, description, and the date and time.

Once you’ve created the event, you have the option of creating a paid promotion to reach potential attendees.
